Mathematics as an interdisciplinary language and tool. Like reading and writing, math is an important component of learning and “doing” (using one’s knowledge) in each academic discipline. Mathematics is such a useful language and tool that it is considered one of the “basics” in our formal educational system.

Department of mathematics is committed to effectively impart mathematical knowledge to students of intermediate. The foundation laid here will help them in any discipline they choose for their under graduate studies, be it the sciences, commerce or even humanities. The realization of their logical and scientific potential and their ability to understand the concepts is a great priority to us and we strive to bring about this in an atmosphere devoid of stress.
