Zoology as part of life sciences is a prerequisite for Medicine, Nursing, Genetics, Agriculture, Forensic science and several other courses.

The study of Zoology instills in students a value, wonder and respect for life. It unifies self with the Universe and gives a perspective of the relationship between the individual and the community. It gives man who is at the summit of Evolution, a sense of responsibility and accountability to conserve and preserve Planet Earth and all her resources for posterity.

The excellent and skilled faculties teach by word and example and mould students into global citizens. Students are exposed to a whole new vocabulary and vision of life. They reinvent themselves and with a new awareness and attitude are equipped to take on any area of study and make a difference to society.
